Denver North holds off Denver South, 89-86

The Denver South Rebels narrowly lost to the Denver North Vikings in a 89-86 contest on Friday.

Denver North was paced in scoring by Thompson Lane who scored 28 points. Jordan Aguirre and Benjamin Macias also had productive outings contributing 19 points and 14 points, respectively.

Denver South was paced in scoring by Turumbil Zaki who accounted for 49 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and one assist. Kaiden Braesch helped the effort by chipping in 10 points.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Denver North heading to play Lincoln and Denver South taking on Regis Groff.
