Aspen could not keep up with Holly, fall 66-58 on Friday.
Coal Ridge was lead in scoring by Austin Gerber who put up 20 points while also collecting six rebounds and two assists. Hank DiMarco recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Coal Ridge heading to play Roaring Fork and Aspen taking on Delta.
