Boy, 7, having nightmares after watching porn playing on tablet in McDonalds

A dad says her autistic seven-year-old son is having nightmares after watching porn on a tablet at McDonald’s.

Martin White, 53, said he was ‘totally disgusted’ by the ‘very graphic’ pornography which is now haunting his son at night.

His boy was exposed to the video at a table in a Worcester McDonald’s restaurant last Saturday.

Mr White only realised what was happening when he heard a mum at a nearby table gasp in shock.

When he went up to the counter to complain about the incident, he found staff were laughing at his son’s traumatic experience.

McDonald’s apologised after a boy was exposed to extreme content at this branch in Worcester

McDonald’s said the business manager immediately apologised and made sure the extreme content was removed.

Mr White told the Worcester News : “We were totally disgusted. This is still affecting my son, who is autistic. He keeps saying he is having nightmares and keeps bringing up the video.

“The father on the next table immediately went over to the counter and reported the incident.

“A few minutes had passed, and the video was still playing, and no one had come over to the tablets.

“I went up to the counter and found that the staff were amused by the whole thing – they were giggling behind the counter.”

The Worcester dad slammed McDonald’s for allowing their tablets to show pornography.

Police were told about the episode and officers contacted the branch manager to offer advice on how to prevent a repeat incident.

McDonald’s, which blocks inappropriate material on its tablets, contacted Mr White to tell him that the incident was not in keeping with the company’s brand or values.

The firm’s customer service team said there was ‘nothing humorous’ about the situation and insisted the restaurant would now increase checks on the tablets.
