“I would have done whatever it took to try to get a college to at least look at me. Or at least try to go and be a walk-on or something because baseball’s been my dream since I was able to pick up a bat,“ he said. “I feel for them. I really wish, not only because I want to play but everybody wants to play baseball. I wish it would never happened. I wish we would still be out on the field playing right now.”
