Tottenham vs Wycombe

The FA Cup returns to our screens this weekend.

One of the final ties of the 4th round will see Tottenham make the trip to lower-league outfit, Wycombe.

Spurs head into the game on the back of a 3-1 win over Sheffield United last weekend.

The Lilywhites would also hammer Marine 5-0 in the previous round and no doubt fancy their chances of getting something from this tie as well.

Tottenham team news

Ahead of his side’s latest FA Cup clash, Jose Mourinho has provided a fitness update on his squad.

And Spurs look set to be without at least one player for their Monday meeting with Wycombe.

The Portuguese tactician would confirm Giovani Lo Celso has no chance featuring against Wycombe.

Mourinho also confirmed that Matt Doherty, who missed out on the aforementioned win over Sheffield United, Serge Aurier and Dele Alli are all also doubts, though Mourinho stated at the time that Lo Celso was the only player 100 per cent ruled out:

“Gio has no chance and apart from that, we have a few little problems, maybe ‘yes’, maybe ‘no’ for the game.”

“Matt Doherty was not involved at Sheffield United and I’m not if he will recover. Dele hasn’t trained for the last couple of days with a small problem in the tendon and Serge Aurier, not really well. So, we have a few, but out, out, still three days before the match, the only one I can say is completely out is Gio.”
