Jake Quickenden has been sickened after noticing that mums have been trolling his newborn son Leo via his Instagram page.
The first time dad, 32, has been open about the cruel abuse that had been flooding the comments section and his direct messages on his social media pages and has shared how he “felt sick” as he discovered that some of the evil online abusers are parents themselves.
Having enough of his innocent son – who was born on February 26th – being target by cruel keyboard warriors, Jake decided to take to his stories to share his upset at the abuse following one troll penning a vile comment that read: “The winner of the realistic miscarriage” below a snap of Leo.
Fuming at the nasty words, Jake shared the comment – and others – on his Instagram story and wrote: “Just wrong. These are mums themselves! I feel sorry for them.”
In another lengthy statement – which the X-Factor sensation later deleted – the Dancing on Ice personality hit out the trolls as he called them “sad f***s” and told how the abuse is wearing him down.
“You can be the strongest person in the world but eventually people pulling you down and being sick can wear you down,” he typed.
“I don’t understand why anyone would be nasty to someone they didn’t know especially a child I’m done with some things I’ve seen!!!
“It’s sick and it’s by other parents as well!! Get a f*****g grip you sad f**ks”.
Jake – who did not reveal the identity of the trolls – then added in another post: “I’m not naming, unfortunately, that’s what they want and strive for.
“It makes them feel big and important for once… Also as bad as it is I don’t particularly want anyone to get trolled. It’s not nice even if you’re a p***k!”
Jake then shared a screenshot of one online abuser mocking miscarriage alongside a photo of Leo.
Sharing his disgust, he wrote atop of the image: “Imagine joking about this… I’ve also covered the name as I don’t want them being trolled as sick as it is”
Jake shares Leo with partner Sophie Church and he recently shared his heartbreak after seeing trolls brand little Leo “ugly.”
Calling out the mean social media users, last month, Jake wrote: “REAL POST… So in the past week this little man has been told he needs Botox, that he’s ugly as f**k and that he’s weird looking, me myself have also been told stay off social media if you don’t want to be trolled, it’s so baffling to me that I should have to stay off social media if I don’t want my 4 week old trolled.
“I don’t mind people giving me s**t, as sad as it is I’ve had to get used to being called ‘irrelevant’ ‘ugly’ ‘attention seeking’ nd the list goes on but to troll a innocent child is so wrong and the people doing it seriously need to seek help.
“Also why should I stay off social media if I don’t want him trolled the thought process of some people is shocking, maybe people just shouldn’t troll.
“I enjoy social media it’s full of lovely people who are supportive and I like sharing my ups and downs, I try and be real as possible, but unfortunately there is a dark side of social media and something needs doing about it.
“Anyway rant over!! The lion is 4 weeks today! Cute af.”
