Ohio state troopers are investigating a road rage shooting that happened on I- 71 near State Route 123 in Turtlecreek Township Friday morning.
Around 6:30 a.m., a call came into dispatch from a person requesting assistance. The man told troopers he was involved in a road rage incident, and his vehicle was shot.
When troopers arrived on the scene, they located a white 2014 Chevrolet Express Van with a bullet hole on the front passenger door, according to a news release from the OSHP.
Investigators said the victim was headed southbound on I-71 near state Route 123 when the road rage incident started, and it continued as both vehicles traveled south on I-71 with the van shot near State Route 48.
The suspect’s vehicle then fled the scene, and the victim was not injured, investigators said.
The suspect’s vehicle was a white Scion xB with Kentucky license plates, and the driver was a white male with medium-length hair.
