Instead of listening when everyone told her this kind of thing would happen and voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett anyway, Susan Collins has issued a statement opposing the ban on abortions in Texas. She calls the recent Supreme Court ruling “extreme,” which totally makes up for everything. Gosh, Susan, thanks. (Bangor Daily News)
